Are the delivery ppl that come to his building with food allowed to go up to the tenants door or does the tenant come down to the lobby when they order?

i kind of get his point though, because at least once a week i get the same chinese menu's from the same 3 or 4 chinese restaurants that are open in my area. its a little annoying, but getting a new menu from a place you don't know about is like getting mail when you're a 6 year old.

He takes off his bandages and finally reveals his injuries, they have to leave their baggage behind to catch the train, what could these things possibly mean?!?!?!?! It's the epitome of Wes Anderson buying his own auteurism rather than just doing his own thing and letting it be naturally textured.

I just feel like he's regressing, if I had never heard of Wes Anderson and you asked me to guess how the films came out chronologically I would put Life Aquatic up top because of those problems. There are parts of it I like, but I might've been a little tired of the Wes Anderson schtick at that point and it was only getting more acute.

I really value subtext so if Darjeeling was trying to be that big with its symbols then I missed the point, but I also am not going to enjoy that anyway. I was probably done with his bullshit at that point, I hate Adrian Brody, and I think I'm done with Schwartzman. If he made a movie with a really huge tone I'd line up for it on day one.
