So I'm going to my 25th HS reunion/conservative pagan

I clicked on this one person's name. He lists himself as a Conservative Pagan. He was in the top 10% of our class and a complete nerd (yeah. I had a crush on him). But a CONSERVATIVE PAGAN!!

Of course I sent him a message about it. He can't make the reunion (which is a good thing since I am utterly fascinated by him now. Of course our spouses wouldn't appreciate it very much).

A CONSERVATIVE friggin' PAGAN!!! I'm a liberal agnostic but A CONSERVATIVE PAGAN.??!?!?!?

Vain? Hardly. I was such a social pariah in HS that the nerds (the guys who were into D&D and Tolkien) avoided me.

I was socially inept. And the fact that I spend as much time on the internet as I do is only further proof that I grew up to be a dork.

PS-- they only put up with me because one of them was a Marine buff. My dad was a Master Gunnery Sgt and that blew them away. I was popular for maybe a minute because my dad let me show them some of his souvenirs and pictures.
