Was driving to work this morning and about 100 yards ahead of me I saw this 18 wheeler start to lose it, stretch across the 3 lanes of the interstate, flip and eventually end up on the right shoulder.

Pretty crazy.

Good news is there were no other vehicles involved and it didn't look like the driver should be hurt providing he had on his seatbelt.

What was annoying is 2 or 3 times I tried calling 911 on my phone and it said the number couldn't be reached. WTF !!

A little further down I got through but by that point I'm sure others had called.

Kinda surreal because I saw it all unfold and but I couldn't tell you details such as if he started in the middle lane and lost it moving to the right or vice versa.

I'm usually wondering why the traffic is backed up on 684 S but today I know why all those poor bastards getting a later start are stuck.

It's a fear of mine to see a bad accident unfold in front of me. Glad everyone was ok.

i saw an 18 wheeler change lanes not seeing the car that was half way in front of him..so he kinda clipped the rear of the car which slid the whole car in front of him..

so the 18 wheeler was pushing the car for a while until it started rolling, was pretty glad it was a four lane highway when the car started flipping into the shoulder.

not once did i reach for my phone though, probably would've gotten a ticket for using it.

They had a closer one, showing the truck, last week but looks like they changed it.

instrument, that exact scenario happened to me, over by newark airport about 6 years ago. we would have either been flipped into oncoming traffic or the wall of the exit ramp he was pushing us onto, but luckily we were flipped out into the little triangle between the ramp and the highway. no major damage done (except the car) so the trooped gave us a ride to newark, we rented a car and were only a couple hours late to thanksgiving dinner. it was pretty surreal.
