Why would some people rather have negative attention directed towards them rather than none at all?


Why would a person convince themselves they are liked and when something negative is said to them they blow it off like a joke?

Would you rather go somewhere that you know you are not wanted and pretend to fit in?? Why?

she was being such an attention whore, everything had to be about her, even if someone wasnt talking to her she either thought they were or she made it about her

People have a basic need for attention. If they don't get it they act up and make trouble so that they will get noticed. Negative attention isn't as desireable as positive attention, but it is, to many, better than no attention at all.

Those people just want to make sure that someone notices that they are alive... so as long as there is negative attention aimed at them they are happy because someone thought of them.... shit is weird right....
