No, you're great" between Ron and he. * Ron had apparently been up to the restaurant on the old Rockefeller estate at Pontanico during the week off.

Huge Ron and Fez fan-- way back to .com days (Big Ass Card #710 :)) but don't often check in here-- no reason in particular.

I just wanted to "get it out there" that the phony Dan that phoned in to the show was definitely -not- Dan Barber-- didn't even sound remotely like him had no idea what he was talking about, if one knows. As I mentioned, he didn't even get the name right!

It was excruciating to listen back to it (it starts at about 2:33 of the show) since Ron was so sincerely enthusiastic about Dan's food, etc-- and said he wanted to get him in for a show/interview-- but it was just a shithead impostor. The phony Dan invited Ron to an "open invite"-- which I assume (hope, really) the show later found out was bogus-- since Blue Hill is very difficult to get in to (and very worth it.) I hate the thought of Ron standing there asking to speak to Chef when he has no idea who Ron is!

Anyway, I'll check in a little more often. :D
