You're high if you really believe that they wouldn't have won a similar number of seats to what they actually won! Obama is a centrist Democrat in the Clinton mode, so why the fuck would you think she wouldn't be painted as being a terrifying socialist? She's a Clinton and the Right goes apeshit over them, plus she'd be the first woman president, which isn't much removed from spinning her negatively as being "different" and "dangerous" and getting the rubes all riled up!
