I agree with you that medical marijuana should be legal (actually I don't care if marijuana is legal, period).

I strongly disagree with your sentiment of "People want it and it should stand". Just because people want something doesn't mean it should be legal. This isn't American Idol, this is a nation of rules & laws.

Medical Marijuana may seem like a victory, but all it does is maintain the bullshit moneymaking system. Full legalization is the only answer, but the people making the profit off of medical marijuana and illegal recreational marijuana have too much power and will fight to the death to prevent it, as we recently saw in CA. I think the medical marijuana system will/has actually damaged legalization efforts.

i would just like to point out that marijuana in any form is illegal according to the federal government, and so no judge really has to intervene on anything. i know this was posted a long time ago but lets try to actually have some facts when we talk about stuff. The DEA can go in and arrest everyone involved if they want to. they have done it before.

Controlling and enforcing immigration is actually constitutional. Theres nothing in the 18 enumarated powers that gives power to the fed gov't in regards to drug enforcement


This should be left to the states, but we have allowed these draconian laws going back at least 100 years to be given to the feds. The DEA has become another multibillion dollar bureaucracy and is infested with some of the most corrupt people in the fed govt
