i said this before....but its genius of an ad company to create an email/mobile os/computer os, have you register for all this shit....then upload your contacts......and their addresses etc. then created google maps...and latitude... and give it all away for free.....
then drive around and map everything...but secretly take note of all wifi you come in contact with....
and the best part is that we all signed up to give em all this info...yay

They are rolling out super fast broadband also. Something crazy like 100mbs. It is free to those who don't mind being guinea pigs in the test phase.

Naive!
For one thing...hasn't anyone told you about free lunches?
And second, to anyone using Gmail, how is it not immediately apparent that the advertising is being tailored to the content of your message?

How is this fucking news? And would you prefer targeted adverts that might interest you rather than the random assortment of dick pill ads you find elsewhere?

Seriously. When I saw this story posted somewhere else today, I had to check the date because I didn't think there was anyway anyone could discover this today.
Who just tries gmail now?

What exactly are these advertisements that we are getting? I get no advertisements. Not that I'm complaining. I just want to know what you're talking about.

I had to go log in to see if I got them, but I think AdBlock screens them.

I put my chat on the right side, so I have no ads, other than the small link above my mail.
