View Full Version : Do You Listen To The Entire 4 Hours Of The Show?
The Blowhard

Just curious. Do you watch TV, tape, catch a few minutes here and there? I admit that TV sucks, and with RF on the radio I can do other things, like rearrange my sock drawer and waste time online. Even when I go out, I try to catch them in the car. "Diehard Listeners", check in please! ;)

I never missed a 3 hour tour... it was the best way to pass time at work.
On Fridays during the summer I would leave work at 12:00 go to the beach and listen to all three hours there.
Now, I usually get the first hour in, then the last 30 or so minutes, depending on what time I decide to go to bed.
If something really good is going on and nothing is on TV i check in periodicly

I'm sorry to say that I find that I am listening less and less everyday now. Ron and Fez seem to get slow in spots lately and then I go and do something else-then I come back to see if Joe Poo shut his piehole!!

I often do take the four hour tour. With the exception of mondays (class) and a half horu here or there if there's a show that's on the same time as another show and i record the shows instead of missing R&F i take the entire ride.

I usually listen to the whole four hour show. Usually if I am watching a sporting event I just turn down the TV and listen to the show. There are few times that I turn it off for a while because I dont have a radio around or if the show is not funny to me at that time.

I try to catch as much of the show as posible. I get out of work around 830 PM, but take a brak about 7ish just so that i can hear the first thirty minutes or so...When I have a night off I take the 4-hour tour. But I agree with Reeshy that it does slow down sometimes, and I am distracted by comp or TV...

I try to catch as much of the show as possible. Many times I have nighttime meetings that prevent me from listening for an hour or more. Few TV shows interest me, most of them are on Saturday or Sunday anyway.

I listen to the entire 4 hours live, and then the replay here in D.C. (which the bastards at WJFK usually cut off at around 2:30 a.m.)

I try to listen to the first hour. Sometimes I catch more, but it depends whats on TV.
Also I don't think the show is as good as it used to be. I liked late nights when they would just do a whole show on stupid stuff like machine gun noises. I enjoyed them making fun of Rosies book the other day.
I hope people don't get mad at me, but the show has become too focased on this board and has too many callers coming into the studio without anything to offer to the show.

I used to be able to listen to the whole show when they were midday. With the 7-11 time slot I can listen to the first hour on the bus (I live in PA, work in NYC) I lose them in NJ and then pick them back up at home (Another reason NJ sucks). We have had to stop at a rest area on 80 and wait for the Fezatorial to come on because 2miles down the road we lose R&F>

Why dont they do the replay again at 2AM for those people that might have of missed the four hour tour...I hate turning on the radio and hearing those two dickheads, Don and Mike. I mean how many times can we hear bad radio?? Bring back the middle of the night replay!

I never missed the middays shows, would even plan my lunch hour around it. Now, i try to listen to the show as much as I can, but I usually miss almost an entire show or two each week. I sometimes turn it off for a while if the topic doesn't interest me (i.e. fetish show).

I usually get to listen to most of the shows. Since I work nights from home, the only time I have to turn the radio off is when I am calling overseas. One night I actually had a friend of mine in Australia listen to them for an hour and they loved the show. It was the night Al decided to clean the carpet. Also another counterpart of mine who is in Hong Kong calls me just to let him listen to the show for a time so R&F have a world wide audience.

I think Fallon has a valid point.
My theory is that, since Al books no guests, R&F may feel they have to rely more upon the board members, because they're the only ones they can count on to actually show up in the studio. They're getting no one from Al.

I absolutely listen for the entire 4 hours to Ron and Fez. Usually on Tuesdays at 8 I tape Buffy the Vampire Slayer with the volume on mute and on Thursdays I tape Charmed. And while I'm taping those 2 programs I listen to Ron and Fez. I barely like anything on TV lately so sometimes I will be doing other things and listening to Ron and Fez.
