PITTSBURGH — State police are trying to find a man who they say stole a hand-held video game system and accessories from the casket of a teen who had been killed in a traffic accident on Christmas Day.
State police are not willing to comment beyond a brief news release issued Wednesday.
In the release, police say 38-year-old Jody Lynn Bennett grabbed the items from the casket of 17-year-old Bradley McCombs during a viewing Monday night at a Montgomery Township funeral home, about 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
The funeral home director and McCombs' mother aren't commenting. The suspect's aunt, Dianna Bennett, says her family is friends with the McCombs and are mortified by the theft. She tells The Associated Press she hopes police catch Bennett soon.

This is hilarious
I feel terrible for the boy. He is heading to heaven without a video game to play. His afterlife is going to be ruined.

This.
I wouldn't do it, but who am I to judge. Unless the family were practicing Ancient Egyptian Pagans, I don't see a problem.

My 62 yr old cousin died and they had him buried with golf clubs in his casket while wearing golf attire. It was strange and cool at the same time.

i'm going to the wrong funerals then. i was saying last week they should serve drinks at the funeral home during the wake. apparently there is actually a law in jersey against food and beverage in funeral homes......and i was all set to start my new business. a funeral home that offers "wake party's".

Now, would he really miss his nine iron? Those things cost a small fortune if they're good. And besides, there's no sand in heaven, so he's not going to use the sand wedge, and with the reduced friction high up there, the driver would be overkill.
