I seen Little Jimmy coming out of Starbucks at the borgata last July with his girl...She is HOT...he is a Lucky boy ! I also seen him with Kenny at 7 am and they both were really cool to me and talked for a few mins...then Jim did the 610 WIP AM Sports Radio show LIVE from the Borgata and he was Funny as hell with a few good stories...I met Ant and his posse after jimmys Friday comedy show and they were Great...wish I had my Flip cam as Ant was taking Pics and video with Fans of thre show for a few mins...then he went to the High roller area to play Blackjack...It was just cool to hang out with some of the boys as I was on Vacation for 5 Days at the Borgata during the 4th of July week...It was the best week of 2010 for me...Basically a shitty year...Anyone have a Ticket to the Jan show ? Hoping to go and hang with the show and some fans..Love the Borgata !:drunk:

I don't see how the FPS games could work on connect (or however it's spelled). You have to face the tv, so moving around would not work. Ok, VR glasses could make it work.

Their "knowledge" on tech is just plain stupid.
When they were talking about TV's i was enraged with the things they were saying. They knew nothing of the TV's they were talking about.
First person shooters will never work like sailor said. There is just too much to do in FPS to have no controller. Lets take Black Ops as example, You have a gun....how will it know to shoot? The kinect may be good but it wont be able to see you trigger finger move less than an inch. Not to mention Hip firing and ADS firing. You also will have weapon attachment like the shotgun....HOW? then you have Tactical grenades, Lethal grenades, and equipment. You will also have to use Killstreaks. HOW!? Then you will have to be able to USE the KS's like the gunship. Impossible. Not to mention on getting the mechanics of moving correctly and hiding behind cover. I will say that the one way they will get it to work is really handicap the game.

Well, Anthony did invest in nVidia... so... you know... they are brilliant.
Even if they come up with the technology that lets you play an FPS running around your "game room," why bother? Go outside! Get some scratches and bruises. Have an experience where you or one of your friends gets seriously injured.
I shutter to think there will be a generation of kids who have anecdotes revolving around "Call of Duty" when they could have anecdotes of watching their best friend break his arm falling off of a bike or knocking out a tooth play fighting.
I can't stand him.
I feel much better.
I think it is sad that Bobo actually pulled off a relatively respectable Sam impression, but that is one of the reasons Sam stinks.

I dont want to be johnny bitch pants, but seriously do they ever think for a second about what they're saying instead of just talking shit? Like they imply you should follow Pomplamoose on twitter to bitch at them for their Hyundai commercial being on too much, like they have anything to do with it. And two people who turned their talent into a paying job are somehow offensive, I guess that girl should learn how to install air conditioning ducts. Plus, only insufferable hipsters support book drives, because reading is only something stuck up fags pretend to do to make me feel dumb for being a millionaire who spends his free time watching reruns.

Answering your question...No. As an aside I am particularly amazed at how Jimmy constantly makes some off base assumption on a subject then later in the conversation refers to the assumption as if it were fact.

I personally dont believe in genius as an artistic concept, but Jimmy uses the word genius because 1: he's not very well read and 2: he likes to be contrary to what he perceives is the intellectual elite.
I do think Stephen King has done a lot more than he gets credit for artistically, and he's gotten more people reading than most authors which makes him a huge asset to the literary world, but Jimmies overstating is as bad as a snoots understating.
On the topic of female sideline reporters:
They were hired to do a job like the male ones, treat them with respect. I am not a huge fan of female sports reporters, but many of the best male reporters also never played the sports they offer commentary in. Actual players being good at commentary is an exception rather than the rule. I mean, how many people prefer Frank Gifford, Terry Bradshaw, Bill Walton, or Troy Aikmen to Bob Costas?
Females serve as a constant reminder to the viewers how stupid sports reporting really sound. Watching a woman do the SportsCenter rubbish catchphrases, exaggerated pauses and other jabber is revolting.

True, On Writing is a great book. I'm guessing that Jimmy did not read it, and it is an anomaly in King's writing.
I personally dont believe in genius as an artistic concept, but Jimmy uses the word genius because 1: he's not very well read and 2: he likes to be contrary to what he perceives is the intellectual elite.

I think he get's plenty of credit for what he's done (actually did, his heyday has definitely passed). He's hugely successful and probably one of the most read fiction authors of all time. His books are great, just like a Burger King Whopper is fantastic. You're just not going to get a lot of nutrition out of it.
One thing I just noticed is that I typed this a few minutes ago, sat here trying to wake up for a few minutes, then reflexively went back and corrected your spelling of "Jimmies" as though it was part of my post. When I realized that it was part of your quote, I thought I should return it to it's original form, but that seemed especially odd. This is strange.
The boys are really on point with the whole Michael Vick in the Super Bowl thing... Of course all the advertisers would pull out of the Super Bowl if Vick made it. I mean, it is only the most overhyped, overwatched important-to-the-industry game. The Greaseman, Jimmy the Greek and Don Imus could be in the game and they would still advertise with them. But Michael Vick, a man who did his time, would make advertisers run and hide...

Jimmy is like rain man with some of this shit. Usually he is spouting off about things of which he knows little, but every now and then he explodes extensive knowledge of arcane americana.
...and another part of the show... I was in Vegas last week and saw Penn & Teller. The show was good, but not nearly as fantastic as Jimmy made it sound. There's a whole weird political theme that runs through most of the show and while I tend to agree with the point of view it seemed pretty simplistic and preachy.
My odd observation was that P&T each bought their matching suits about 20lbs ago.
...and just in case you get to see it. P&T stand in the lobby after the show to greet fans. So if you want a pic or a meet you need to rush out otherwise the wait is forever. (But they stay till the last person says hello)
...and Cocktail Waitresses at the Rio are hot ! Which was definitely not the case at Trop, Flamingo, TI and the local casinos.

Having Louis CK on yesterday got me to tune in for the first time in months, and that show was pretty good. The first hour made me want to wring Danny's douchey, passive-aggressive neck though.
I'm kind of curious how today's show with Patton Oswalt went. I know Anthony didn't want him on a few months ago, so I'm kind of afraid it'll be a phoning it in segment.

Listening at my desk this morning and hearing the Mark Twain N-Jim conversation. Disagree with the prevailing opinion on this one. In the book "N-Jim" was used to identify the character as a slave and somewhat less than human. Today the N-word has a very different meaning, but we all know what a slave was. So, maybe the change not only makes it more palatable, but gives it clarity.
No one argues when we update Dickens to reflect today's word usage. But the N-word is such a lightening rod any change evokes a strong reaction. I guess my simple point is that language evolves over time and this may be one of those.

Any editing of Dickens would be because we no longer understand how the language was used. Removing nigger from Huck Finn is not done to clarify anything, it is done in some silly attempt at denying history. As usual, this type of thing just empowers the word.

how"Of Mice and Men" had some off-color language(not a direct quote).I jokingly replied "try the Oriental version...of Rice and Men" and left it at that, without telling them that sure the times have changed, but 100 years from now we'll edit your writings/videos/works of art/comedy material/pictures of your children to suit our needs.Political correctness can't erase the past.Re-write history, but get it right. The way outside part of that argument had to do with sexism and the struggle of men of certain groups competing for jobs to feed themselves and family. It's the "old school/old neighborhood" segregated groups and differentiated ethnic identity argument. Maybe Blowhard could give his side of that, from a NY angle.I never LIVED it.:banning::unsure::lol:

One of the things I was taught in a college ecology course was the phenomenon of water direction when it meets land. In the northern hemisphere, when sea water moves east against land, it will flow south along the coast. If the current takes the water west into land, it will flow north along the coast. I believe it is reversed in the southern hemisphere. We were taught this in the context of the beach building processes at work in the ocean. Here on our coast there is a large river that carries sediment from inland out to sea, where it is dispersed south along the coast, rebuilding beaches that decayed due to erosion. There is a neighborhood on the cliffs to the south that has pretty much fallen into the sea, and the erosion significantly accelerated when river damming began, which traps the sediment before it can head out to sea. Strange stuff.

In the spirit of this they briefly spoke, and were somewhat offended by, the idea of continued fund raising for Haiti. Because 1. We probably already gave more money than anyone and 2. They havent done anything with it.

What is the deal with people who address problems with the black people like black people are the fucking Borg from Star Trek?
Anthony: How does it help black people to have several kids out of wedlock? Why don't you clean that up in your community?
Caller: I talk about it every day!
Does Anthony go on the air and apologize when crazy white people shoot up people in Arizona? No. He screams, deflects, and cries like a fucking bitch because only black people are responsible for the crimes within their ethnic group. His rants are fucking racist.
I can appreciate that there are percentages and statistics that will point to black people committing more crime per capita than white people, but to insist that a race of people have to apologize for things they have no involvement with is nonsense. Anthony loves to trust the statistics based only off of registered crime, convictions, and crimes reported in the media. How many small white-committed crimes were downgraded to a warning due police bias and legal representation?
When was the last time Anthony was able to use his FOP cards to weasel his way out of a moving violation? Fucking hypocritical cunt!

I like the fact that Ant questions the obvious issues of the black community. And I like it even more when a black caller like today will not accept responsibility for their own actions only to place blame on whites. To blame the white creator's of the drugs that dominate the inner city black community is rediculous. It is a culture of violence, intimidation and despair that the black community seems to dwell in generation after generation.
Now, Ant is racist - no question but most people are (and that means black people too).
I dont understand why you compare the white committed crimes against the problem of black committed crimes. Why cant we just pick crimes of one race to digest and try to get answers before we compare to another race. It just ends up being another white against black division (when they dont have much to do with each other).

Well I was gonna say he's racist, but you already figured that out. He's not too concerned with black on black crime, or the role poverty plays in crime. He also isn't too excited about using public funds to reduce the conditions that produce criminals but I'll bet he'd pay a tax to build a wall around Long Island. Really thats your answer right there, you're talking about a guy who has a hugely deep well of resources, works in one of the capitols of the world, meets people that excel in their field almost every day of his life, and has chosen to live on the exact same island he was born on and spends all of his free time watching TV, playing video games, and only dates girls that cant rent cars yet.

Why cant we just pick crimes of one race to digest and try to get answers before we compare to another race. It just ends up being another white against black division (when they dont have much to do with each other).
If we are going to blame ethnic groups for the crimes they largely don't commit, how does that make sense?
Let's assume that the following 2006 US incarceration rate statistic from Wikipedia is true and perfect. I would use some of the other statistics, but they don't necessarily compare people not in prison with people in prison:
Whites: 409 per 100,000 (0.004%)
Latinos: 1,038 per 100,000 (1.038%)
Blacks: 2,468 per 100,000 (2.468%)
So, 2.5% percent of all black people are currently doing time for the crimes they commit. That leaves 97.5% of black people not doing time for criminal action. Since there are not really good statistics for crimes where:
1) The police error.
2) The lawyers talk or plea bargain a guilty client out of a prison sentence.
3) The criminal is killed before arrest for any number of reasons.
4) The criminal managed to getaway.
5) The crime resulted in probation or house arrest.
Let's assume an insane margin of error in the criminal justice system to the extent that somewhere between 2.5-15% of black people are committing violent crime. That is still a huge minority of black people committing violent crime. Most of the crime committed by black criminals if against other black people in generally low-income cities.
So, what do you recommend that otherwise honest people, not just black people, do in those areas to reduce crime in:
1) Committing acts of vigilantism against the criminals? No, that is illegal.
2) Inform the police? Maybe, but why would a law-abiding person of even subnormal intelligence (even an incredibly idealistic person) seek out dangerous situations? I can't imagine that criminals plan their crimes in open public places where passers by can just cherry pick valuable incriminating information to feed the fuzz. I assume the majority of people not committing crime are also the same people who avoid dangerous situations.
3) Move? Some people from small towns do. Are all of them obligated to keep tabs on the old neighborhood? If you subscribe to the Ron Bennington school of thought, you are a fool if you even friend your high school friends after the age of 25. I sure as hell don't talk with my high school friends anymore, I moved out of my town and started a life elsewhere. I hear, from my family, that some of my old friends are slinging dope and strong-arming 7-11s. Do I drop my life to try to talk some sense into my long-lost friends? Why do we hold non-crime-committing black Americans to a standard that the average American doesn't live up to?
Talking to black people like they are the Borg from Star Trek is just racist. Just because you have some kind of condescending conversation about how black people need to "get it together" and "shape up" and "not have numerous kids out of wedlock" and "not buy into the bling culture" is as stupid as when Mr. Furley on "Three's Company" had a man-to-man conversation with Jack Tripper to cure his homosexuality. Tripper wasn't gay, and the average black person you see on the street isn't up to criminal activities.
Asking US civilians to police other US civilians is like asking North Koreans to overthrow the North Korean government. What powers do they have to protect themselves? What spy equipment do they have to listen in on secret drug deals and home invasion plans?
Yeah, disproportionate amount to crimes.
Yeah, kids out of wedlock.
Yeah, bling culture.
What do you propose that black people do to fix the problem and why is it not everyone's responsibility?
In the case of Anthony, he is not the Arizona shooter. I don't expect him to answer for that guy's actions, but he attacks any suggestions of compromises to his lifestyle the same way that he attacks black people for the crimes of other black people. If he won't compromise his ability to purchase guns, why should black people compromise their safety to stop violent racketeering in their communities?

one that is related to the business environment? Jack LaLane died at 94.Green Bay must be stopped.Did Jimmy have anything to do with this arrangement,as he is most likely consulted on who should stand in for him when he is out(I blindly assume as a courtesy)? Was there just unavailability of the regular stand-ins and friends of the show? Maybe Erock can explain. From what I recall, Anthony drives like a wreckless moron and gets mad at other people that don't do the same. I remember when he was dating Jill Nicolini and they were talking about how crazy aggressive they drive, and how many accidents they've been in acting like it was the other drivers fault.

yea its one of my favorites, and i'm not sure many ppl would agree. Basically Yimmmmy took a big ol doodie one day and took a picture of it....he brought it back into the studio and the boys were just really impressed. they didn't think little yimmmy could make such a big boy doodie. So, in the never ending effort to get interns to do things for money, the boys put 300 bucks together and gave Intern Jared the chance of winning said 300 bucks by putting on a "doodie hat" scooping up the doodie from the bowl, and addressing it by saying, "Big boy sure did make a doodie" before returning the turd to the bowl, waving bye bye and flushing. radio gold.
