Sunday anxiety

I've heard Fez mention it before and it's one thing I can say I share with the bearded one. I sleep like a champ on Saturday nights but sometime Sunday I start feeling the pressure build up. I usually try to drink it away which works until I wake up at 4:00 Monday morning worrying about the upcoming work day/week. I'm sure or would at least like to think Fez and I aren't the only two out there whose Easy Sunday mornings turn tense.

the only day i can ever truly enjoy is saturday, because i know i'm off the following day. knowing that i have work on monday takes away from sunday enjoyment just a little

This happened to me all the time. I dont know what it was but for some reason I couldnt sleep, you feel anxious about the upcoming week and your mind doesnt shut off. Its almost like a guilty conscience feeling even though you did nothing wrong but you just cant stop it!!!

I get anxiety about saying or spelling Wednesday. What a weird word. So I usually just say Tuesday plus 1.

Yeah every Sunday night. Tick, tick. I like that they simulcast it on WCBS 880 here in NY too. Not many shows you can do that to.

I get the Sunday night mental spaz too. Come 11 pm, the brain really starts going. Drinking probably isn't the best route. One thing that's helped for me is making sure I get up early on Sunday no matter what transpired the night before. Just get up and do something productive. Even then it's not easy.

Failing that it's Ambien. Zero quality sleep but at least I'm not twisting in the sheets.

There is a phenomenon in Japan called Sazaesan Syndrome that is basically a feeling of sadness triggered by hearing the ending theme to Sazaesan (A fixture of Japanese Sunday night TV for over thirty years).

If I hated my job, I would be part of that demographic, but thankfully I am not.

That was definitely an anxiety TRIGGER.A "trigger" for fez to do "5 minutes" when Ron gets tired of talking is"What's up buddy?Still locked up?" Nope. That's a good idea tho. For me at least, Ambien is a guarantee that I'll be asleep in bed with my eyes closed for at least 8 hours. It's an awful night's sleep though. Hard to wake up and feel tired all day. Come to think of it though I may have gotten up and posted some strange shit here. Who knows.

It's a great idea. Though I think it's best to write in the blog sometimes when you're on Ambien or when you're just unable to sleep.
