Ugh. (http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/09/obama-administration-moves-forward-with-unique-internet-id-for-a/)
President Obama has signaled that he will give the United States Commerce Department the authority over a proposed national cybersecurity measure that would involve giving each American a unique online identity.
This is not good.

Thats probably because the act of placing your testicles on someones forehead is considered a "tea bag". What a silly mistake, you goose.

The government (and whoever they sell/give the info to) would be able to track my every movement on the web. You would need an "id" in order to log into the internet.

I'd hardly call people nutjobs for liking their privacy, not to mention having info sold on them all over the place they have no way of restricting overall. It's already happening in too many areas, why keep adding to it versus halting it?

Sure thing sailor, ezpass has never been used to give tickets, track movements, or make it easier to raise tolls ever. They must be nuts to be annoyed or not like it. Fuck the tolls on the GSP shouldn't even be there any more, much less other places.

I use ezpass, but if I didn't want to use one, I could still drive the turnpike. This makes it look like you cannot go on the internet without this.

• Under federal law, wiretaps may only be conducted in investigations of serious crimes, a list that was expanded by the 2001 Patriot Act to include offenses such as material support of terrorism and use of weapons of mass destruction. The administration is proposing to add copyright and trademark infringement, arguing that move "would assist U.S. law enforcement agencies to effectively investigate those offenses."

They already are doing it. (ICE) I started a thread. What they are doing is most likely illegal. And could be sued from it.
