Haven't posted on the bored in a long time.

Anyways, throughout the course of my life I have to dealt with mild double vision at times. It started when I was young and only certain things would go double such as movie screens. As I got older the problem got worse and worse slowly (probably from spending my 11-13 years constantly on the computer added to the problem. Also trying to catch things have always been a problem because my eye creates a blind spot.

Fast forward to about 6 months ago; I started taking my adderall prescription which aided all this issues it was meant to solve. However, I noticed this made the eye problem much worse when ever I would take it.

Eventually it got so bad i went to the eye doctors where i was diagnosed with "esotropia in both the eyes" with "strong favoritism of the left eye" I am set to get surgery most likely in a few weeks which hopefully will correct the issue. I was wondering if anyone had similar experiences with esotropia or any strabismus disorder. What routes you took to remedy the problem. Especially if anyone has noticed worsened symptoms while on any sorta of add medication I would be really interested.

A friend of mine had this exact problem and she went in for eye muscle surgery in November to correct it. After the surgery, they said it would take a couple of weeks for her eyes to go back to normal. Well, it's now January and she still has double vision, and has to wear a prism in one lens of her glasses. I don't know if she just had a bad outcome or what happened. She is on a bunch of different medications so maybe those have something to do with why she hasn't healed fast. Be sure talk to your surgeon about what you can expect afterwards, and if your medications will complicate things. Good luck!
