Anyone know of any Home Alarm Systems other then ADT or LifeShield?

Whats the pricing per month? Any free installations any free or good package deals etc?

As odd as it sounds check with your oil/gas company. We have a setup with our oil company that costs ~$15 a month, integrates a fire alarm and furnace monitor and actually uses a high end Honeywell system.

I have what was Brinks-->Broadview-->now all ADT. I can honestly say they have been good so far, but had some issues early bc I inherited a system and they said it would all work with my dogs (dog alley) which was complete bullshit. It was constantly triggered by simple movement when I was away.

They tried to tell me I can't get the start up retool of the system bc i had it for a month...of shitty service. I fought and they finally changed it up and I made them do it all over. I was pissed so much with the last guy and demanded they send a supervisor or more tenured/senior tech. Sure enough, the same guy showed up and I told him no thanks, send someone else. Goodbye. They finally sent his boss and things have been good now since 2005 when he did the fixes. It was Brinks then and as I showed above has changed twice since. Fucking mergers and buyouts. Whatever you pick, it'll probably be owned by ADT soon anyway. Sloman Shield?

I looked into our utilities company and their site didnt offer alarm systems for homes. I will do some research this weekend!
