I don't think so but I could be wrong.
He does have an endless supply of cash to pay for hookers and cocaine.

I don't understand this article at all. Why would this be a bad thing? He asked a grown-adult woman to babysit his kids.

I've never tried cocaine and I only had a hooker once. I would be spending my $$ on other things.....like weed and fleshlights

I'd say it's probably terrible to be Charlie Sheen. The shit you read about him getting into isn't the type of thing a happy person does. Yeah, I guess coke and hookers are good at first, but after a while doesn't that lifestyle just turn into a pattern of self-loathing? Millionaire or not, I'd rather live a life that gives me a shot at meeting my grandkids.

Could do much worse..My childhood babysitter is doing life in Massachuettes' Walpole Prison for Murder 1°...So I got that going for me, which is nice..

It would be fun for a while, but then you'd remember that you star on "Two and a Half Men" and the self-loathing would kick in.
He probably does booze and coke to forget he's actually on that piece of shit.

The series premiere of new Charlie Sheen starrer "Anger Management" on FX drew 5.5 million viewers, including 2.7 million in adults 18-49, making it the most-watched scripted cable comedy series premiere ever in the demo.
The launch, also the most watched series premiere in FX history in total viewers, actually finished second on the night for the cabler to the second episode of "Anger," which drew 5.7 million (2.9 million in 18-49). The 18-49 rating was 2.1 for the premiere and 2.3 for episode two.
Given an initial order of 10 episodes with another 90 obligated for pickup if it hits certain ratings benchmarks, "Anger" showed it is likely to see a long run on FX. A year ago in the same 9 p.m. Thursday timeslot on FX, 1.8 million viewers watched a rerun of "Two and a Half Men" with Sheen.
The official season premieres of "Wilfred" (2.5 million overall, 1.5 million in 18-49) and "Louie" (1.4 million overall, 0.9 million in the demo) also showed considerable improvement from last year, with increases in total viewers of 71% and 55% respectively. Each delivered the second-highest-rated episodes in their history.
It's good to be Charlie.

http://www.tvrage.com/news/1203/charlie-sheen-s-new-fx-series-sets-ratings-records
Despite the critical drubbing that Charlie Sheen's new FX comedy Anger Management has received so far, the series premiere broadcast now holds the record for the highest rated debut of any original series in the history of the network.
Last night saw the first two episodes of Anger Management hit the airwaves, with the premiere episode "Charlie Goes Back to Therapy" bringing in 5.5 million viewers, 2.7 million of those in the advertiser treasured 18-49 demographic. The second episode "Charlie and the Slumpbuster" actually managed to improve on those already great numbers, delivering 5.7 million overall viewers, 2.9 million of which were 18-49.
The news gets even better for Charlie, as Anger Management also now holds the record for highest rated scripted comedy premiere in the history of basic cable. That is, if you're willing to exclude children's series from the equation. The large audience for AM also helped the rest of the Thursday night FX lineup (Louie, Wilfred) post huge gains in audience levels from last season.
Due to the unique contract FX has with Sheen, if ratings stay at a certain level (which these numbers easily exceed) the show will be automatically picked up for ninety (!) more episodes. In other words, we could be seeing many more years of Charlie Sheen fronted comedy, whether we like it or not. Of course, the real test will be next week. Lots of people may have initially tuned in out of morbid Sheen-related curiosity, and nobody knows how many of those viewers will come back for round two. For now though, Charlie is again "WINNING" indeed.
KnoxHarrington
07-07-2012, 09:31 AM
The ratings for the second episode of Charlie Sheen's trainwreck of a show were down 40% from the first.
Charlie Sheen had a decidedly successful debut last Thursday in back-to-back half hour episodes. Unfortunately that was not the case this Thursday night, when the third episode aired in the 9:30 p.m. time slot.
The latest segment drew 3.37 million viewers, down a significant 2 million from last week. A 40 percent drop has undoubtedly raised some network eyebrows but it is clearly too early to draw any definitive conclusions.
Still a good number, to be sure, but down 40%?
And since FX is on the hook for 90 more episodes of this mess if they pick it up, they might be just a little squeamish here. We'll see how Week 3 looks.

I saw a few articles about this that say that this isn't too uncommon an arrangment in basic cable: it's the deal that Tyler Perry gets on his terrible sitcoms. It ends up being way cheaper for the network: you make all the episodes at once, over the period of a year or two, then the network airs them for years after that.
I can't imagine, though, how any show made under these circumstances woudln't be a cookie-cutter piece of shit.
Dirtbag

Most sitcoms are cookie cutter piles of shit regardless of contract situation.
