I guess Ive known this for a long time but tonight I was just sitting their listening and I find myself in this weird other place where I feel somewhat comforted and like Ive found a home and like Ive found words to express feelings I couldnt find words for.

I feel the same way. Tool is probably my 2nd favorite band (behind NiN). They never disappoint me.

actually i was listening to a perfect circle with my friend Dave and we got into some heavy discussion and alaysis over what makes Tool so GREAT but they arent so popular...

I guess its cause they dont follow the mindless typical format "chorus, chorus, bridge, chorus" so there music isnt catchy and you really have to listen to it to understand. I like that.

Tool is awesome. I saw them at MSG a few months back, great show...but what a bunch of sick, twisted mental cases. Sometimes I feel dirty and shameful when I listen to them. Yuck.

You cant listen to tool soft no matter what it has to be as loud as u can get it till it hurts its the only way to listen to them


My freind and I saw tool at MSG in Rocktober it was the coolest thing i ever saw in my life i was dissapointed that it wasnt loud enough or at least where i was at MSG sound sucked but its the only time id pay to see a guy dance around in tight black undies ever

Too bad where we were
everyone was smoking to the left and to the right all around us then we crashed in the parkinglot of the mall and all my cloth stunk so i had to hang them outside

Also at the concert like after everysong i didnt knwo what to do cause i enjoyed it so much but didnt want to clap or yell i was confused so was my freind

It was odd though that during the 15 minet song slowly one by one people started to sit down

I wish i can go again

I have been listening to Lateralus on the my commute into the city...And I have to say...It is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

The songs are epic and realy show off the talents of Tool...

The little bit of Tool that I've listened to has totally rocked.

I really enjoy the energy of this band... they make me want to hurt people... and that is tough to do.

aperfectcircle is great too. Essentially just like TooL, but slightly softer. I think Maynard applied gender to the bands, TooL being masculine and circle being feminine. Any way you look at it, it's good music.

I thought Mer de Noms was one of the best albums of 2000, and I'm antcipating what Billy Howerdel does next with the group. He's been writing the second album, and he's promising it will be even darker than the first, which *really* makes me eager.
