A caller and Ron were saying how Fez doesn't see any shades of grey on issues. He just looks at it in black and white and doesn't think about the opposing side and catagorizes his position by a very simple belief..

This reminded me SO much of WF, then I started thinking.. he's JUST like Fez politically, but on the opposite end of the spectrum. WF is constantly posting articles on illegal immigrants just like Fez is constantly bringing up gay rights on the show. Neither of them want to logically see the other sides point of view, and make their arguments extremely black and white: "illegal immigration is illegal, therefore we must enforce the law", "gay people should have the same rights as straight people, therefore they must be allowed to marry eachother".

When confronted with reasons the issue isn't so black and white, they just repeat their basic point, as if gay marriage will ever be solved just becasue it's "right" and there's some magical cure-all for illegal immigration that WF knows about.

You (WF) always take anything from the opposite side and label everyone as having that position. If any blogger or Kucinich or MSNBC or local democratic official or sharpton say something, you label everyone else as having that same position.

On the other hand, you don the exact opposite for yourself. Even when you have the exact same position as the Cato Institute or Pat Buchanan or Hannity, you completely reject the comparison because on some other unrelated issue you may disagree with them.

You lump all of the opposition in one group, but narrowly define yourself.

Nevermind your politics, you need to take a class in Rhetoric or debate.

1. If you're referencing my use of the term Ron Paul Republican, you should have been able to figure out that that was in reference to WF always grouping everyone on the left together, but narrowly defining his associations, even when has the same position as Hannity, Bachman, etc.
