I was hoping to get more clarity on the drive home but I thought it was E Rock saw someone had written on their pad that Anthony was asleep, E Rock tells O&A about it in confidence, so they proceed to announce it on the air creating a very uncomfortable situation for him.

you think she gets paid to do the promotion tours? i thought they usually only get cash for the day....like a stypent (sp?) for lunch and coffee and whatever and roll around in a limo going from radio show to tv show......i always thought the payment came from the added exposure they're giving the movie/tv show they appear in. maybe they would pay a mega star to come in to just BS like Ozzy or someone.....but i would be surprised if someone like Malin Ackerman got paid to come in and promote something.

heartbreak kid was pretty funny if you didn't actually pay to go see it......watching it on HBO takes a bit of the edge off and i thought it was a funny movie.

i think you're being a little over protective of her though.....i'm sure it happens where if they get off on the wrong foot, they don't promote whatever it is correctly, but i think in this case she genuinely enjoyed being on the show.....its funny though. They get bashed for not being themselves with certain guests and they get bashed for being themselves with other guests....i don't think they were overly rude and they all related to some of her previous work, and i think they acted like they always do and with her it worked. she's not overly shy and they didn't treat her like she was. And the Beezid girls were rubbing their asses on the windows before Op said anything anyway. Malin was the one who wanted to know what was going on with the Beezid girls too.

Went to see Red State Saturday night and I know that Opie is a whiner, but the Q&A was tortuous. I don't know what I was expecting, but the open mic format just lent itself to every moron with a question. You had Melissa Leo & John Goodman and a once in a life chance to ask a whatever you wanted ... oh it was awful...

As for the movie it was good, but 60% good. Worth seeing, but not quite there.

I get the similarity in concept but I dont think it's a concept anyone can lay claim to. I also think the joke both shows did was the obvious joke, inane nonsense which is really just a bridge to a catchphrase. Worst case scenerio it's paralell thinking, just like Billy the Bassman vs. Davey Red. O&A&BK were not thinking about Dave's bit and ripping it off, but they're similar bits. It happens.

Ronnie B is a great interviewer, but in a completely different way than Howard. Ronnie talks to the person about their art or interests or whatever, but it's really a one on one.

Howard integrates the interview right into his show. It's good.
