Yeah, it does break the show up. That's a booking issue on R&F's production side. From the way they work, Liam (and Roland for O&A) get a list of available guests with the days / times they'll be at the studios. If they like the guest, and have the time to get them in, they'll book them. This interview was probably booked weeks ago, but with Fez back I'm a little surprised they didn't cancel it. But it did give Fezzie a mental break and allowed the show to move on a bit, so it may actually work out for the better.

I have to agree with you. I have cleared a half-an-hour of the Audible file and the callers are just not helping the show. The only vaguely interesting caller asked about the secret and Corky, to be frank, it is not time for either of those questions.

when fez is there, why can't they do the unscreened call bit- callers singing weird song, doing odd impressions, telling bad jokes, etc. it would be good for 2 reasons- 1. that sort of random crap was what has made the RnF show so good in the past, and 2. it would be better for fez without the fez's problems or ron's lack of interest in talking about stories fez brings up stuff that seems to dominate when fez is there. that type of random shit should be done when fez is there, not when he isn't there.

I understand the situation, but I also know that my emotional response to a death in the family is by no means going to be same or is supposed to be the same as anyone else's.

I agree. Trying to get the callers to sing together and trying to get jokes from the callers was actually pretty funny. The Chris Stanley movie-naming bit was probably my favorite.
