I'm not crazy about the original Arthur.


And books are better than the movie because its a lot easier to make that stuff work in your mind, you can suspend your disbelief. Look at the Watchmen, which had absolutely horrendous dialogue, much of which was taken directly from the book where it never bothered me. You cant say that stuff out loud and be serious about it, but in your head you just skip over the logic that makes it bad real dialogue.
