Then you have no idea what medical procedures cost - tests, consultations, procedures, not to mention time away from work and travel costs - are fucking astronomical. To spend money on something like steak three times in a week is pissing in the ocean. You want to see a sacrifice? You want them to wear burlap clothes and eat nothing but oatmeal while they try and cure their child? Fine. Don't donate. But you're way off base.
