Kara Dioguardi's songs blow. I wish Ron would bring up the disconnect between the emotion of a songwriter's songs and a pop singer's lack of understanding of those emotions. That's why I can't deal with pop or Nashville country -- the singers are just singing other people's songs, while their backup band plays music they had no part in creating.

Once saw an add in the local paper where a "friend" owed someone a lot of money and they told everybody about him not paying it back.

It simply said - I loaned Jim Norton $5000 to buy a trailer 12 months ago with the agreement that he would pay me back $1250 every 3 months. One year later, he still owes me $5000 and has avoided all my calls and contact. Just thought everyone should know...
