What's going on today?

I couldn't get to .net for an hour, and the show sounded like it was in best of with the Up / Wizard of Oz bit.

Is Fez there?

I think I need a drink.

In a way it's merciful .net was down this morning, I feel like the girl they interviewed would've caused a furor.

He wasn't captain trips yet, he was ensign microdot is some LOTD stuff.

No way. I'd freak out if he started talking to me.

Ron wants to take a break from "those shows", yet keeps the callers coming through.

C'mon Fez!

Posting what I was going to post before I found out site was down.

That writer lady lost all credibility when she cliche'ed out admitting she owns a cat. She was the obvious problem, not the men she dated.

Also, I wish Fez sat in on that interview, and taken all his woman hate out on her.

Lastly, yesterday Fez was a HUGE winner while playing the role Ronnie gave him for the Slayton interview. Hilarious.

An informed and insightful assessment.

I'm sure part of the humor in the writer chick's book is about her own problems plus the men she's doing. The interview sortof turned into judgment fest and a macro look at relationships in general, which is why I thought it would start pissing off guys who were listening. Ron's kindof sexist but in the patronizing way.

They need to do that more oftern - have Fez start his shit more during some interviews. Ala Steve from Yellowstone ....Ramone!

I think "Magic" by the Cars is a much better example of the 80's sound.

U2 is blech. There was tons of great stuff in the 80s, the problem is, and I dont know why, these conversations can only ever include financial success. For whatever reason The Smiths and The Replacements and noone else counts because they weren't mainstream, even though they're hugely mainstream now for the influence they've had.

Sure, but it's something they do often, even not setting up a guest. They're saying there was no good music in the 80s, but then they only pick "80s sounding" acts. Like if they were talking the 70s and anyone not disco was tossed for not having that 70s sound. It would be absurd.

I liked U2 up to Achtung Baby. Maybe one or two songs after that, but most of their stuff is too disco pop.

I agree, I think he might as well say "Let's talk about 80s bands you remember for awhile" but you cant do that, so you put out a statement for people to refute. It's bullshitty but noone is going to sit around on national radio and talk about 80s hardcore or pop punk as happy as that would make me.

And Ron mixes stuff up all the time, but he's the confident guy and Fez and Pepper arent going to contradict him.

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand time, but how selfish is Fez? It' not just you buddy. You're killing everyone around you. No matter what you feel about yourself do Ron a favor and take a break.

Wow.

The downward spiral continues.

Ron didn't even go to Fez before the post.

That was not the Ron and Fez Show.

Yeah, a change is really so beyond past due at this point, and today assured it.

Hicks stepped it up too.

Very.

Sometimes I think he's going to realize it, move past it, but it all comes down to the world not "going right" for him, as if everything should go his way. It's a mental sickness.

The show did not skip a beat today without Fez, Hick's is the MVP this year hands down.

CountryBob

I missed almost all of the show due to a 401k audit - but, i agree with an earlier post - Fez is selfish, if he really cared about the show, his buddy Ron - he would step down and quit having his private life on display and analyzed every day. He should get better help as well.

Take 6 months off - the return of Fez would be huge!

I will still listen until the shows cancelled but it could be so much better.

Warren Peace

with respect to Fez, is there any doubt as to the worth of Super Agent Bob Eatman? Their contract must be ironclad. There's no other explanation for how Fez has been allowed to remain on the air (well, dead air) for this long.

I agree but don't think Fez will ever be back as he once was, he's too far gone. He doesn't even get the funny anymore..

The selfishness is fucking annoying. I remember Ron Mentioning talking to him about taking a break and fez said he wants to keep doing radio. I'm sure he does.
I wanna be a millionaire sports star, but don't have the abilities to be and
Fez no longer has the ability to hold a normal conversation never mind talk radio.

He's like an aging sport star staying too long and tarnishing his legacy.
the longer he stays I think the further he'll push Ron (his supposedly best friend) away for holding him back and only thinking of himself.

Push him away like just about every other friend of the show.

I think he needs to step away too, and get help. But none of us know what Fez's real reasons for staying are. I think it's because he's supporting the rest of his Florida family with his salary . The other thing is this..If you could get paid as much as Ron Bennington for doing nothing, wouldn't you keep doing it? Because can you think of any other job that would let Fez do what he's been doing for the past year or so ( he's gotten worse since then ,at least) without firing him? Fez is lucky he's still got a job just like a tin knocker like Anthony fell bass ackwards into being a millionaire .
