In 1 of the articles I read they said that it was all a lie and that they will be dropping the rape charge. But would want to make a plea deal for a misdemeanor smaller charge but feel the defendants lawyer might not go for it and demand all charges be dropped. What? If she lied there should be no charges. Typical American law enforcement. Lets trump up as many charges on someone as possible to make it almost impossible for that person to not get convicted of something so they plead guilty and the prosecution gets some type of a win.

Then people wonder why even innocent people plead guilty to lesser charges. Its because they know that 95% of people that go to trial are convicted which means they get much more jail time. In most cases its just better to try to plead out and get as little time as possible and plead to lesser charges. Our entire criminal and legal system sucks and doesnt work!
