i got new cable a week and a half ago and i've had more max and action max still on my box(no more HBO or the other max channels) since the free week they always give you. and ive been recording the fuck out of those two channels should i call the cable company and tell them they fucked up and and gave me a box that gives me two premium movie channels or not look a gift horse in the mouth?

a similar thing happened to my father in law 3 years ago


he bought the nhl package and at seasons end those channels share with MLB

well hockey ended and the channels were still there even though he didnt pay for the MLB package ... next nhl season came ... channels still on



so for 3 yrs hes got 3 seasons each of nhl and mlb just for that initial nhl price of 169

I had free internet for over 6 months after I moved, they even came out and set my shit up and never charged me. Then one day it was off, I called as a "new customer" and now have 6 more months half off. Booyah!

If they charge you after the fact you dont have to pay it. Just plead ignorance and say you didnt know that wasnt part of your package, theyll take it off.

As far as what you should do, well as a guy that stole every cable channel including 5 PPV channels for over 10 years while paying $30 / month for basic, I think the answer is pretty obvious.
