This sounds like an extension of what's already occuring thanks to media/Internet. Some call it the CSI Effect: lay people--meaning those who lay around watching TV--think that they know so much about the investigation process, and expect a tremendous amount of scientific techno-savvy, that unless the cops can show real answers to inexplicable problems (like, How did that tape get there?), the perp gets off. In my eyes, it causes a problem: Do you want a jury who thinks in terms of TV justice, and eventually, social media messages, or would you rather have a disconnected person in the box?

I know what's coming down, was just trying to protect your identity; an office building huh, the death of another key facility in american history. We pulled that mile long seaplane hangar a while back. Specialized facilites are difficult to find new uses for but, historic none the less. Had lots of SHPO issues in my business on main base. It's a pain but getting an appreciation for the need for preservation.
