I was just reading the imdb trivia on Wendy and Lucy, which is a movie about a broke woman and her dog roadtripping to Alaska to start a new life.

A few of the trivia points focus on how Michelle Williams got all dirty and scruffy during production, to look more homeless, and how people ignored her because they didn't realize she was the star of the movie.
