Haven't been listening lately so I don't know the context but it's obviously one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever heard.
So the Big Cat's not doing so great lately huh?

you're missing the new intern and his parody songs, fez's characters and tanley doing voices
and that was just a bad day,i'd say fez is doing better than last year, the show certainly is better than 2010

its only better because he is quieter. he doesn't talk the 1st 2 hours of the show, or the last 45 minutes usually.
At least when he was going crazy, he would talk about it. now it is silence.

That animation was spot-on.

This actually gives me certain amount of respect for Fez. He feels horrible when he says asinine things.
You really can't say that about too many people in his profession.

On Monday's show when Fez was having one of his breakdowns and talking about the dreams/nightmares he's been having about his father he said that in it his father told him to kill himself. Assuming that this isn't a bit on any level, which I'm pretty sure we can all agree is the case at this point, that's some pretty fucked up shit right there for a "comedy radio show."
To me, that might have just been the straw that broke the camel's back and I may just have to punch out of listening to the show for a while. As funny as this blueberry bit might be, it loses its appeal to me when its obvious that this guy is a genuinely disturbed and emotionally damaged individual who needs to get SERIOUS help beyond what he's getting now.

because he had a nightmare? not saying the camel is doing great, but that's a very odd straw to have chosen.

Because he's having suicidal thoughts and I'm pretty sure its not the first time he's brought it up either. Saying you think you're finding money that your dead father left on the ground for you is weird and OK to goof on. Saying that killing yourself is something that crosses your mind is where I personally draw the line. Not saying that everyone needs to feel the same way. Just saying that's my limit as to what I'm willing to accept. If he was a family member I'd have an intervention. Since he's basically a stranger to me I've got to cut him out of my life. Suicide is my personal thing that I can't / won't accept.
And I doubt ANY parent would tell their child to kill itself.
Well, Casey Anthony maybe....

I totally see that, I'm just reading the situation differently. if he was talking about conscious thoughts of suicide, I'd agree he needs to be locked up. Having someone tell you to kill yourself in a dream falls short of that for me.

I'm not able to listen as often as I used to anyway but I know for a fact he's mentioned once before that he's had suicidal thoughts. I can only assume its not isolated instances since its unlikely I would catch the two instances on the two occasions I've listened in the last three weeks.

Perhaps you're thinking of when Fez tried to kill himself by not eating or taking his medicine after one of his heart attacks. That was years ago though.

Yeah the last few days have been really difficult to listen to past the point of being funny...

No offense Judge but I have no tolerance for people that talk about killing themselves. My sister has tried to hold our family hostage for years saying she is thinking about committing suicide. I told her on Christmas last year to never talk about that again with me - if she wants to kill herself, then do it. My Dad and Grandmother have been so stressed over the years when she talks this shit.
Yeah, I am a hard ass ...

I just want to know, from a different view of the situation, why someone from sirius hasn't stepped in.
I mean, they flip out over the smallest shit, but they're totally OK with Fez's breakdowns on the air?

Nobody can do anything right around someone like Fez, so they give up and hope he goes away on his own.

I agree. That's the only thing that keeps me thinking it's a bit. If it weren't, wouldn't the management get enough?

Only way management could step in is if he isnt performing to standards set by job description and annual reviews. Or if he breaks some sort of handbook rule then they could suggest and even force time away.
We all know that Fez isnt performing up to past standards but by acting crazy - you cant step in and do drastic things without possibly facing law suits about mental issues. I see the Sirius HR dept as being as cautious or even more cautious than most companies - due to the mixture of talent they have,....

Im going to guess that they are satisfied with the return they are getting from the R&F show. I don't know how they decide that but if they felt it wasn't worth it any longer they would then step in.
