Misti's no joke, she'll put your ass on the beach. In your own time look up the album version of The Beach Song by Dead Milkmen to illustrate. Really sublime irony in a surf punk band singing about not liking the beach. Video is unrelated, but still good.

I like girls that dont want a committment

Chicks that start on that whole mindset of, "I'm single and everything is perfect and I don't need anyone right now, but if it does happen it better be awesome" always wind up being disappointed. You wind up with one of those chicks and they will criticize every move you make, want you to do everything the way they would do it, and if it's anything short of perfection they'll regret that they ever let you into their perfect little snow globe world. They don't want a boyfriend, they want another pet.

Come to think of it, Hicks has really morphed since taking a mic. During those first days/weeks, he never left his comfort zone of narco-speak and Hipster commentary.

Now, cracking the whip in the face of staffers, and taking 2nd mic role are more the daily fare. Go Tanley!

I know a girl that tried meeting people through craigslist, not like casual encounters but like actual lets meet and maybe date. And the whole idea both skeeved me out and totally depressed me, like when I think about it I feel like I should date her just to keep her busy. Craigslist is below every girl.

I've seen women at my work get worked up about what color font to use on an excel sheet.

Then again, I've seen men complain about what to put in parentheses at the bottom of the page when it is 8 point font.

And I mean they get really upset.

So I've seen both sexes be very difficult. It just comes down to the person.

Also, to close a story line. The post master of my town called me when I filed a complain asking for a refund of my ebay package, he told me that I should use ebay to get a refund and then it is up to the seller to open a claim with the post office to recoup the money. However, it turns out they put my package on the wrong truck so it must have been sent to some sorting facility and I got it like 10 days later.

Wasn't it around the start of no reservations? I think that's what had the biggest splash for him with the general public.

What year was the interview? No Reservations started in 2005 and by that point he had had a travelog show on Food Network, and Kitchen Confidential was pretty huge already, they made the TV show based on the book in 2005, and I feel like he had to have been judging on Top Chef around then.

I hate it when they use air time to do Unmasked.

Yeah I think it's just a case of Ron adjective filling the dead air while he thinks of what to say next. My mom knew who Tony Bourdain was in 2005. He started Top Chef in 2006, also did Letterman in 2005.

Romance and Cigarettes made $500k in 20 weeks. Ooof. I did not contribute, despite being a Coen & Friends fan. I noticed that it didn't get released until 2007 (the RBI was 2005, yes?). Despite missing it, I'm still surprised that the Coens produced it, the cast was right up there--James Gandolfini, Susan Sarandon, Kate Winslet, Mandy Moore, Christopher Walken, Steve Buscemi--but it was limited to 19 screens in the US. Incidentally, it got another $2.5MM in foreign.

This RBI was like 2008; bourdain was like 2005.

so, is this what it's come to? Ron just says "fuck it" and starts playing his own vanity side-project during the Ron and Fez Show? I tuned in late to hear an interview with John Turturro from four or five years ago? What's going on? Is Fez there? Why is this happening? Where am I? What show is this? How did I get here? Where are my pants?

Welcome friend from Drury Lane!

Ron is taping an Unmasked so they had to play some best-of.

I'll join the consensus that, perhaps, we've been getting too little Buddays lately. Haven't seen a 20-hour week in some time.

How 'bouts we just listen in to the Unmasked, like, real-time, baby.

How 'bouts when the fellas go Off The Air, the Best Ofs don't come from the previous week.

To Muffin's point, I'd like to know how many of you listen to RBIs when they're aired in non-RF time slots. I, for one, do not, despite appreciating Mr. B.'s unquestionable skills. Simply, I like The Ron and Fez Show, which happens to include the occassional interview. To seek out an out-of-pocket RBI would require a subject that I'm really into.

Actually, at least for the first interview of his "vanity side project" it was part of a normal r&f show and was then cut out and brought to the interviews show.

I just dont really listen to interviews in general, no matter who does them, and almost no matter who is being interviewed. When there is an interview that I say "Oh, I want to hear that" after 5 minutes I feel like I'm no longer interested.

I think I'm a person who really seperates the art from the artist, it almost interferes with my ability to enjoy something to hear other people talking about it where I cant join in.
