So here's the deal, the list will change from here but I doubt it'll be drastic. Still, I say we do it like in the past and use one official list and everyone picks five teams to be under or over. The net value of all picks will decide the winner. We can go deeper if needed, but 5 should be fine.

There can also be two games here, one for fun and another for $20 per man winner take all. We did this two years back and it was pretty cool. Who's in? No need to pick until the season is closer in case of injuries and more, but let's get a feel for who is interested and if 5 teams is enough. If you're in for the money game make it clear, if not, have at it anyway.

Well, who's in?

So basically, we each pick 5 over/unders on these numbers?

Yah, that's how we've done it in the past. if say you take the bills at 5.5 for under and they come in at 7, you are already at -1/5. That simple.

The last time we did it for money I won and epo only lost by 0.5 based on the numbers and picks from the start of the year.

In for free.

Cincinnati UNDER: Jesus H. Christ, this team is gonna fucking blow. I'm thinking 2-14, 3-13 maybe.

Colts UNDER: I just think that Peyton Manning is probably finally going into decline. Of course, having said this, they'll probably end up 15-1 or 14-2 or something like that.

Lions OVER: I don't think they'll win the Super Bowl, but this team has been improving, the rot of the Millen era looks like it's finally cleaned out, and I can see 9 or 10 wins and a (brief) appearance in the playoffs.

Packers OVER: Just to please Epo. And I think they'll win 12 or 13 games, though I doubt they'll repeat at champs.

Broncos UNDER: I think fan pressure will put Jesus Boy in the QB role way too early, and it'll be ugly. Where is your God now, Tebow?

Im in for free as well

NY Giants under 9.5 - I think this might be the easiest lock of them all
Colts over 10 - I still think 10-12 wins is a guarantee.
Steelers under 10.5 - I have a feeling they go 8-8. That offensive line is terrible.
Panthers over 4.5 - They will use Olsen often and win at least 5
Cowboys over 9 - I think after last year this total should be lower but I also think this is the year they go 11-5 or 12-4 and maybe even win the division over a team like philly who could be great but also could be all hype!

'One game being a tie', I believe was the desperate line he came back with.

I remember posting these years ago. Glad to see its still going on.

Miami Dolphins under 8 - Henne is not a .500 QB
Texans over 8.5 - Didn't need Asomugha. Got better defensively. Will figure out how to keep a lead in 4th qtr.
Panthers over 5.5 - Running game is back with D'will and Jstew. Cam was given some nice weapons.
Vikings over 7.5 - Tarvaris Jackson was their QB last year. Do you know how bad he is? McNabb will make a difference.
Giants under 9.5 - My least favorite team so its fun to root against them and those injuries have to take a toll. There is no room for error. If Ross gets hurt then I think they may hold an open tryout.

im in for the 20 again, why not

Dolphins under 8 - I cant see them beatin NE or the Jets right now. and i cant see them goin 9 and 3 in the other games

Giants under 9.5 - I hope they prove me wrong, but with the injuries that have raped them, i just dont see them winnin 10. then again....

Eagles under 10.5 - I love him, but i just dont think Vick is gonna be able to stay healthy or play at the level of last year, or both. Esp if the extension they are talking about comes through. He hasnt looked sharp so far either. Might be goin back to his head a bit

Seattle over 6 - i know. Tavaris Jackson sucks. But in fairness, he never really had the reigns in Minnie without someone breathing down his neck. Plus I think Pete Carrol is the perfect kinda coach for a guy like him. Experience dealing with immature college players helps. Plus, its TOUGH to win in seattle no matter what. I wouldnt be shocked if they win 5 at home, esp in that AWESOME division. I think they can steal 2 on the road somewhere

Broncos over 5.5 - This musta came out when people thought Tebow would start. I dont think the team is that bad talent wise, and i think kyle orton is capable of winning 6 games. he is a pretty solid QB and has show he can win at least some games as a starter. Since Tebow seems no where near the field, i dont see why they wouldnt get 6 wins playing some bums

i like this method cause you just pull a 0 for pushes instead of seeing some gay 3-1-1 shit

Yeah, but not for the last 5 games. You are right, but even Favre was well on his way out.

i have one question. is the points in relation to the number the tie breaker. i took seattle over 5.5, so if they win 8 i get a +2.5, making how right you are matter.

But say i went 5 for 5, and no one else did better than 4-1, but someone with 4 wins won their picks by a higher combined total than me, do i then lose even though i was the only one 5 for 5? Or is the point thing just a tie breaker

Orton is 32-30 for his career. And as a Bears fan, I liked him a lot. He knows how to manage a game. I kind of like this pick. Denver is a tough place to play as well.

from what i recall, it's how right you are, not the number of teams you correctly picked (that is, going 4-1 vs 5-0 doesn't matter, it's the total number of points you get).
