R5 uses ticketfly and they're just absolutely running the city right now. This fall they're opening Union Transfer, which means they'll probably never book into the troc again, it will use ticketfly and they own a part of it. R5 can start grabbing the shows they couldn't accomodate before in their much smaller places.

You can just start from the 2005 reincarnation with Christopher Ecclesson as The Doctor. He does it for one year than then you have three years of David Tennat greatness as The Doctor. The Matt Smith years are turning out to be great too. The seasons are usually only 12 episodes, so you'll catch up quickly. All characters that you meet usually have running story lines throughout the season. All enemies from the past are re-introduced, so you don't have to worry about watching episodes from the last 50 years to catch up.
