Google News Archive is gone. They folded into their normal shitty search interface and eliminated the bar graph representation of results.

I don't know if I'm describing this well enough, but believe me when I say that they effectively destroyed one of the best information resources on the planet.

It's really fucking distressing me, and I can't believe Google would do something so shitty.

Google probably did this because of the pressure they've been under for copyright issues.

A couple of weeks ago, a younger cousin fell out of a window and died. I've know her since she was a baby.

I don't want to see you on my operating system, I don't want you near my toolbar. When you Google Map my street, I want to know a day in advance, so I won't be there. You understand?

With the bar graph feature, it instantaneously gives you this omniscient view of history. Now you have to hunt and peck to find ANYTHING.

The internet is a shitty source of information without a proper way of organizing it. Google News Archive was an outstanding organizational tool, and they said fuck it.
