They can't leave well enough alone...

If you haven't been to an Unmasked since they moved it from Comix to the Sirius building, you need to know that there are basically 15-20 seats available for each interview. And some of those go to Fez, HTG, Ron's chick, and other friends who might be there like Mikeyboy, JustJon, Mike (aka, etc... So, it's already REALLY hard to get an invite to one, even with the Twitter page.

(That's not at all a complaint. Just a statement of the situation. I understand the guys have to deal with the setup Sirius gives them, they try to spread the wealth, and they've done their best with a tough job.)

Now, though, Sirius has decided to really make it even harder for R&F fans! For the last two Unmasked tapings, they've sent mass, general-subscriber emails soliciting people to try to get tickets. For the Penn Jillette one, they sent it to over 300,000 subscribers, according to the email, and for Bill Burr to over 20,000. I'm inferring then that Sirius has grabbed a bunch of seats away from Ron & Fez in order to accomodate these people, who may not even be Virus fans or know about Unmasked to begin with. (Granted, the effort could be to advertise the show more.)

Why can't Sirius just let Ronnie be? (No pun intended.)
He's got a great show going on, and it's a nice bonus for us fans to be able to snag a seat to one of these things. I can't imagine they're happy about this.

It's not "Ron's show". He's the PERFECT host of Unmasked, but the show isn't his. It would be very cool if Ron owned it, but he doesn't. It would also be very cool, if Ron had hosted the first episode.

This might have to do with the fact that Comix went out of business.

No.
The show moved long before Comix closed.
The merger was in '08, and Comix closed this past February.
