I realized that it's not that confident people are annoying, it's that socially confident people are annoying. When a job needs doing confidence is a good thing. When you're just hanging out it's time to relax, and that uber confident person is changing the rules. We've all called a truce and they're still trying to maintain the conflict. It's even worse when a person is confident with the opposite sex, it's really objectifying. I think this all comes from watching One Man Army and Sons of Guns this weekend.
