You should watch UFC Rio because it's going to be awesome. Remember how awesome it was when UFC went to Australia? It'll be just like that, except everyone is way less ugly. Anyway, here's some shit I stole from another board:

Anderson Silva vs Yushin Okami
History: Yushin Okami beat the cowardly Anderson Silva by DQ in 2006. The real story was that Anderson was so tired of taking the wrath of Okami that he couldn’t stomach losing by TKO. Moments away from being ground and pounded out of his guard, Anderson performed an illegal upkick to end the fight to save himself from losing to a TKO. Anderson Silva then ducked a future rematch with Yushin as much as possible, even going as low as begging the UFC to give him Bisping instead. Dana White being fed up with Anderson cheating against Chael Sonnen by illegal triangle defense and Vitor Belfot by illegal foot in mouth technique matched him up with Okami.
Maurcio “Shogun” Rua vs. Forrest Griffin
Fight Analysis: Shogun looked like poo poo against Jon Jones and has previously lost to Forrest Griffin. Forrest recently won a questionable split decision against our lord and savior, Tito Ortiz, and decisioned heathen creationist Rich Franklin in a borefest. Both fighters have been plagued with injuries as of late resulting in major surgeries. If the Pride Shogun that showed up against Machida shows up, Forrest will lose. If the inconsistent gassy shogun shows up, we’re going to see a boring three round decision that ends up in Forrest’s favor. Again.
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs Brendan Schaub
Fight Analysis: Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera hasn’t fared well as of late. The damage he took in Pride is really showing, and he’s not the same fighter he was. He recently had a bunch of surgery to fix all of his nagging injuries, thus incurring a long layoff. The general feeling is that if he loses this fight, he should retire. Brendan Schaub is a up and coming HW that made his debut through TUF: Kimbo Slice. Three of his last four fights ended in knockouts, but in his most recent fight, he was losing on the scorecards against Cro Cop until the last minute TKO in the third. Schaub’s faulty ground game was exposed when he fought Gonzaga, so if he goes to the ground with Nog it’s a wrap. There are a lot of questions up in the air around this fight. If Nog can get it to the ground early enough in the round, Schaub will lose. The more time Nog spends standing with Schaub, the more likely it is that he will be TKO’d. Nog has home field advantage, and if the rumored breakthrough recovery is real, he should be able to beat Schaub. If Nog can’t beat Schaub, then he drops below being a Top 10 HW and should retire.
Edson Barboza vs Ross Pearson
Fight Analysis: Edson Barboza is relatively new in the UFC and a up and coming fighter. He’s on a 8-0 win streak and looked pretty good against Anthony Njokuani as he put on a brutal Muay Thai clinic that won him fight of the night at UFC 128. Ross Pearson is the TUF 9 season winner, and holds an impressive win over Dennis Siver but a embarrassing submission loss to Cole Miller. He recently won a meh decision against Spencer Fisher at UFC 127. If all goes as plan, especially with Edson having home field advantage we should see this fight ending in a decision win for Edson Barboza.
Luiz Cane vs Stanislav Nedkov
Fight Analysis: Luiz Cane is a inconsistent fighter who is 4-3 in the UFC, and 1-3 in his last three fights. He recently knocked out Eliot Marshall in his last outing, but Eliot Marshall is also being matched up against Brandon Vera at UFC 137 for a loser leaves town match. Stanislav Nedkov is a dirty rear end in a top hat fighter who loves kicking/kneeing people in the balls. He is on an 11 fight win streak (but against cans like Ricco Rodriguez). This is his first fight in the UFC and he hasn’t fought in over a year. Whoever wins, it will probably be by TKO.
Thiago Tavares vs Spencer Fisher
Fight Analysis: Thiago Tavares recently got knocked out cold by Shane Roller, beat a guy that went 0-2 in the UFC and got released, and drew Nick Lentz in one of the worst fights in UFC history. Spencer Fisher is 1-3 in his last four fights. This is a classic loser leaves town match. This has boring decision written all over it.
Rousimar Palhares vs. Dan Miller
Fight Analysis: Rousimar Palhares is another stupid dirty rear end in a top hat fighter. He is known for holding submissions too long and causing horrible injuries. He is also known for infamous accusing Nate Marquardt of greasing while fighting and getting knocked out. Outside that, he is one of the best BJJ guys in the middleweight division and fairly tough/built. Dan Miller on the other hand is a likable guy that fights hard and is cursed with a black cloud. He recently lost to Marquardt, so both fighters have that in common. Dan Miller has a strong wrestling and BJJ background. This will be a grappling match that will end in a submission, probably with Palhares taking it. Dan’s only chance of winning will be his using wrestling to nullify Palhares like Dangerous Decision Dan Hendo Hollywood H-Bomb Henderson did in his fight against Palhares. Unfortunately, Dan’s horrible bad luck will probably hold true, resulting in being mistaken for Chael Sonnen and lynched.
