The original was good. All I know about the new one is that it's set in Mississippi, which I'm guessing means we'll get the stereotypical cast of hayseed maniacs.

I didn't even know it was a remake, the name sound familiar tho.

It's a John Cassavettes movie originally starring Dustin Hoffman, set in the English countryside. It was controversial for it's arguably misogynistic themes, but thats Cassavettes.

I dont think you can get it on netflix, you used to be able to but I think it might be out of print and all of their discs must have broken.
