Morning everyone!

Just lamenting the fact that my online feed always seems to break up and lag during RnF, which is the show I really want to hear. During OnA, which I can take or leave it comes in clear and uninterrupted.

Oh well, at least I get a chance to listen!

Fez should be in great spirits with the Armageddon lock-down NYC is in today.

On the bright side atleast he can feel right about staying away from bridges and tunnels.

I also feel like calling out NYC and DC so early kindof puts everyone in the middle in a precarious 'secondary target' situation, and I have to be in Philly on Sunday.

20 nuggets weigh ~11 1/2 ounces, so if you wanna get a quarter pound of chicken, you're in business.

It got so bad over the years. I first noticed it badly in the one western/cowboy movie he did (not the kevin costner/scott glenn one, silverado or whatever, a more recent one)... he must have had to get dentures or something.

Btw, the show seems really boring to me today, can barely pay attention as I work.

I think I have left my wedge like 2 or 3 times on courses, but usually notice a few holes later when I need it. I think its cause you always set it on side of green as you chip on, then just forget to pick it up on way back to cart. Has to be the most commonly lost club.

Women are just women. If you have a good time with her, then who cares. Have a great time, sounds like a fun restaurant. And hopefully she won't be self conscious and actually enjoys the good food with you instead of eating just a rabbit salad trying to be demure or some shit.

Yeah -and I dont tell people that know me about my step sister past. You all are people that will never meet me or my friends so this is kinda like an open forum for me. I can spill my guts without worrying about it....

I saw on the news how all of the names will be around that pool on ground zero. I about teared up when I saw it - I could only imagine how some of you feel having loved ones that lost their lives that day.

But, I am always talking about R&F to people. Bringing up a funny line from Ron or a catty moment from Fez. People just look at me and remind themselves that I must be a lunatic

It's very refreshing to hear Fezzie contribute so much. This could be the ideal fodder for his lock-up to kick in, but he's surprisingly candid here.

I'm sorry about your cousin.

I had a 60 year old aunt with asthma and an arthritic knee who somehow made it down from the 63rd floor of the North Tower. I had a cousin who made it out of the lower floors of the South Tower.

I worked for Aon. I wasn't in the WTC that day, but I lost so many friends. Through my son playing hockey, I knew 6 firefighters who died that day. Holy shit, I'm starting to cry.
I gotta go.

This is gonna be a stressful weekend on The City. Not just logistically with numerous threats, credible and BS, but with memorials such as those from Leeds and Misti. I cannot empathize, but I sympathize.

To all you tri-state Buddays who must re-live even an iota of the tragedy, may your lake of emotions be placid.

I had a cousin that was supposed to tour the Trade Center that morning with her husband and kids while vacationing in NY. She became sick while getting ready and they cancelled the tour. Her mom didnt know that they didnt make the tour and was horrfied watching as those towers fell down. She didnt get the good news until that night as the phone lines were slammed and she dosent do email...

I know this is nothing like what you have experienced - but it is the only thing I have to relate to...

my sister was supposed to be working her first day with morgan stanley that day. she, true to form, woke up late on her first day of work. my mom called her to check if she was going to work and chastised her to get up and not mess up on her first day. my sister rolled over and went back to sleep. we were freaked and my mom was hysterical thinking she sent her down there to her doom. my sister called around 5p and told us she was home.

I'm a little surprised that Rudy hasn't been out and about more. I guess my cynical side has been noting all of the fakery, profiteering, and general moral abuse of the anniversary. I mean to say that I've suspiciously kept up a lookout for RG because I expected him to go for a (purportedly honorable) play on the memorial.

i remember being at the hunter college train station and seeing the ENTIRE station (im not exaggerating) wallpapered with missing person flyers for weeks afterwards. i also remember sitting in the cafeteria a month after while everyone was freaking out because of that plane crash in queens. people were whispering about another attack. it was a very tense couple of months.

When I saw the War of the Worlds remake - that scene where they were walking past all of those flyers of missing people made me think of 9/11.

I was the Staples against the flow because I had oversight of a multi-million dollar security program at one of Chicago's biggest hospitals. I don't think I got home until after 6 am the next day. I don't ever recall the city being as quiet.

I remember the weekend after 9/11, I was driving back to my hometown to visit my mom. And I remember looking up at the sky as I was driving, and I felt this deep sense of shock at just how clear it was. I couldn't figure out why I felt that way for a while, then I realized that it was that I wasn't seeing any contrails. They'd just always been this thing I'd seen in the sky that wasn't there anymore.
