I don't know how someone can crash a plane into a crowd of spectators and be called a hero for doing it.

Also, why is the NTSB "taking over the site"? Do they investigate wrecks at other racing events? Is racing really a form of "transportation"?

The National Transportation Safety Board is an independent Federal agency charged by Congress with investigating every civil aviation accident in the United States and significant accidents in the other modes of transportation -- railroad, highway, marine and pipeline -- and issuing safety recommendations aimed at preventing future accidents.

the "transportation" part of the title is misleading. if it's not military they investigate every plane crash.

Only if he was Muslim.

Was a nice plane. You would have thought the old koot should have known to fly it by now.

That's two in two days. Another WWII place crashed today in Martinsburg, WV (http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2011/09/plane_crashes_in_air_show_in_w.html) about 30 miles from here. The pilot was killed.

Hell, they're usually involved in most military plane crashes too.

I am pleased that the news gets the video footage of the incident from several angles. It is really informative.

Same goes for the Indiana State Fair stage collapse.
