They arrested two of the three people that murdered that guy in my neighborhood, they got picked up together, at noon, less than a mile away from the scene of the crime, literally on the next street over. I'm not a big fan of them, but Opeth is one of those bands. Bleeding Through has some parts like that and have a synth player as part of their staple lineup. Children of Bodom have that vibe a little, but they're much darker. You may like certain stuff from Killswitch Engage too, like Rose of Sharon......this is one of my favorites. also, before Killswitch, the lead singer was in a band called Blood Has Been Shed and they were incredible. Oh, and Murder By Death....they're awesome....not a metal band, but they're just so good.
