Won't be long now and the season will be here! Preseason rankings all seem pretty consistant 1. UNC 2. UK 3. OSU and so on , I, of course disagree completely, it's my beloved UK cats year to run the table, we'll find out in early Dec when UNC plays UK at Rupp.

Three ACC fans are on their way to a game when they see a pair of feet sticking out from underneath some bushes. They stopped and discovered a nude woman passed out drunk. Out of respect, the Virginia fan places his cap over her right breast. The Wake fan followed suit and placed his cap over the woman's left breast. The Carolina fan then placed his cap over her crotch. When the police arrived, he began inspecting the scene. He lifted the Virginia cap, replaced it and jotted down some notes. He then lifted the Wake cap, replaced it, and made some more notes. He then lifted the Carolina cap, replaced it, lifted it again, replaced it, and lifted it again. The Carolina fan, getting perturbed, said "What are you, some kind of pervert?" "No," replied the officer, "Normally when I look under a Carolina cap I see an asshole."

Monster performance by Brandon Paul last night. Almost single handedly took down tOSU.

That gives the Illini their second win over a ranked team, and a 4 - 1 start in conf play.

And AU just locked Barbee up through 2017.

I might just start following NCAA hoops again (before March, I mean).

I'm not so sure UNC has it locked up just yet, I'd say it depends on what happens today between Mich State and OSU, if Mich st. wins then I think UNC has to make it to the finals of the ACC tourny.

Syracuse loses and Kansas loses, Kansas falling should almost lock UNC in for the 3rd #1 seed. Now the Dogfight is for the 4th.

But I'm not so sure, the last game we lost last season was Uconn, they are probably our second game, then a possible sweet 16 with Indiana, the only reg season loss we had this year. But the good news is we play in Louisville, I've had tickets since Christmas and a flight paid for a couple of weeks ago.

FWIW Vitale says Kentucky has the toughest road, Uconn did play Syr close twice this year, and they are a tounament time team. But I think if UK gets past them it's a smooth walk to the final 4.

not the games KY was in, it was a sea of blue. I don't know about the overall SEC , but UK travels better than anybody.

There's sort of a pent-up football fandom, in the sense that if the football team showed signs of being good, many people would flock to them. But usually what happens is that it becomes obvious early that the football team is going to have another shitty season, so people just go to the games to get shitfaced.

No, it's all based on the fact that the teams Calipari has coached before ended up on probation eventually, or had wins vacated for various violations.

The thing is, though, that I think Calipari's in a situation now where he doesn't have to cheat. Why would he? He's turned UK into an apprenticeship for the NBA. He can tell recruits, basically, that they can come to UK, get tons of exposure, have a very good chance at winning a championship, and then go on to the NBA. No funny business required, really.
