um...didn't obama give the order to take out the pirates that were holding that navy commander in his first year in office...yeah...i thought so.

yes, only because they were holding a US citizen. But as soon as they rescued the crew, the pirates were left alone. they continue to destablize the region. they are a true threat to global security as they often operate out of their own country.
