i figure, since fighting and being dicks in the thread ruins the thread and isnt allowed, maybe we can compromise and make this fair little thread. Anytime the mods deem a debate has gotten too heated or personal, we can usher the involved into this thread and they can have at it, sayin whatever they want, while not ruiining other threads or annoying the people who dont wanna read that stuff. And then the people who do like that shit can come in here with their popcorn


I dont know if we ever tried this before, but maybe it will work and help and not make people wanna leave the board cause they cant have some fun and fuck around too much.

yea, i worried about that a little. Im sure this one eventually wont end well, but, who knows. Maybe we are just crazy enough to pull this off. Especially since most of the people in here wont actually know each other.

One of my favorite board pasttimes is wondering who i fight with most on the board that i have never met that i think id actually probably get along with really well.

I didnt fight alot with him, but i never had much musings with Dan Laroe, and i know spoon wasnt a fan. But at the softball game, we found out he is actually a pretty fuckin chill guy.

thats why i never take this shit too serious. Most people know cause ive been here so long but, some people still think im really mad or angry and not laughing my way through it.

So i figure, maybe this could work

ok so as far as this goes, ad hominem attacks are not allowed. when we deem its too personal, you get a warning. if you continue, you get a vacation. fights are not to be moved here.

now, if you want to use this thread for roasting each other in a good natured way, fine. however, it must be understood by all parties that this is a joke. i see lots of possiblity of this thread being abused by people usuing really heated and personal attacks being cloaked in the guise of a joke (you know, because we cant have nice things)

i'm not entirely sure what the policy is on fighting (which i think is not at all) so im gonna take my mod hat off for a sec:

as a normal user, i always thought that if you wanna keep on fighting with some one after youve been warned by the mods, take it to the PMs. but maybe thats just me. like i said, i first dipped my toe in the message board world in the murky waters of FBA (which had rules that were a LOT more lax than other places ive been)
