My wife and I still have the ashes from our two babies who passed away. They were on our mantle for a bit, but now they are in a box down in basement. Part of it is a way to cope and deal with your mourning. But what are you supposed to do when your process is over, if it ever really ends? Vacuum the dust up or just throw it in the trash? Or throw it into ocean and have wind blow it back into John Goodman's face? Or I guess we could eventually put them into a cemetary-type setting (but that costs money, we know Hicks doesn't have that). Not sure there are any real good answers.

Not a problem, thanks.

I don't have a problem talking about it. Actually, I have more problem talking about it in person to people than online or in email. Its way easier for me to talk about stuff online apparently.

Maybe I should become an online psychologist, probably a lot of people who'd rather talk about their problems online versus in person at an appointment.

Just to clarify the Mumia thing, a federal appeals court had ordered a new sentencing hearing. The prosecutors settled on life rather than try to have him resentenced to death, which would have started the death sentence appeal process all over.

And there is far more evidence of the West Memphis Three's guilt than there is of their innocence.

That's the problem, though. Peter Jackson believes they are innocent and will only include things that support his position. If people see his movie and think they are getting the entire story, they will be mistaken.

He is not "retarded". And he confessed at least 4 times. His initial confession to police, and then three times after he was convicted. Once to the guards transporting him to prison, once to prosecutors - with his attorneys in the room strongly advising him not to say anything, and again to his own attorney with his hand on a bible and no one else in the room.

I'll read thru the site you linked, with an open mind, I have no dog in this hunt. But just reading some of Misskelly's first statement to the police right now, I see several statements that don't match the facts, and I see the cop leading him to fix these statements when he gets them wrong. He describes injuries that didn't occur and he has this all happening while the kids were in school.

And I know he wasn't retarded, that's why I said half retarded. His IQ is somewhere between 72 and 74, 69 is retarded.

2. Primer (had to use Google-fu for that one, could be wrong)
3. Howard the Duck, thanks listening thread :)
4. Night of the Creeps
5. Screw you Pepper

They show the Tillman directory on TMC constantly.

Anyway, Ron does a hilarious boss thing, Hicks is taking care of whatever he needs to take care of to get Ron's guests in, and Ron sortof passive aggressively goes "yeah but they've texted me." Like I know you're doing what needs to be done, and youre dealing with the aggrivation of our system that I wont deal with, but I'm gonna bust your balls about it while you're getting your balls busted from the other end like its somehow just your own fault that they cant get in any faster.

Like if you've ever been in a meeting with a higher up who doesn't get a technical process and then asks questions about the limitations of that process like noone ever thought about it before.

I have no dog in the hunt, either.

I believe it is plausible that Misskelley's first statement is partly inaccurate because he was trying to distance himself from direct involvement - a theory forwarded by law enforcement officers familiar with questioning suspects.

A defense witness at his rule 37 appeal hearing admitted on the stand that Misskelley's performance IQ in 1992 had tested in the mid-80's, and that the score of 75 on the test he took for his trial represented "malingering", i.e. deliberately trying to score lower to aid his defense.

I think they should open every show with a Hicks Catholic prayer.
Of course, that would require Ron be in the studio right at every opening, so maybe it's just not possible.

i meant ron being upset about them not having in the lady he said loved the show.

and the last time ronnie was in, she was talking about amy being dead, if that was the direction you thought i was going in.
