View Full Version : Why won't NJMCDIRECT recognize my ticket

It's a non-moving violation so no points involved. The officer told me to go the site and pay it there. It was, for getting a ticket, a pleasant experience. So I go to the website to pay for the ticket and I type in the information they ask for (the court ID, the prefix, my license plate number) and it says it can't find the ticket. I really don't feel like driving over to the court house to pay it since it's a few towns over and with my job (hopefully I'll be back to work next week) I won't be able to make it during the hours of operation.
Has anyone else had this problem?

then it will not matter, not filed nothing they can do about it. i would be surprised if it is lost, there has to be some oversight as to ticket numbers in the cops book and what is filed.

Paid it today. I called the court and they fixed it online. They musthave enteredsoe wrong information. I sort of think that should have let me just no have to pay it. Oh well. I can spare the 56 bucks.

I'm not happy to part with it, especially conidering I still have to do all my Christmas shopping, but it could've been worse. The cop let me off the hook.
