OK so heres the layout. Theres a reality show on TLC called All American Muslim which depicts 5 muslim families in Dearborn MI, The highest concentration of Muslims in the country

A person in Florida who is a converted Porn addict wrote to Lowes wanting them to pull their advertising from the show got his way. Originally it was reported that it was from the Florida Family association when in fact its only 1 person.

Lowes was wrong to kowtow to this demand

However it was reported that a congressman in CA wanted Lowes to be forced to show their commercials he threatened to take legal action

How can some obscure politician demand a company show their commercials. Lowes pulled a bitch move but the government can not force a company to buy advertising slots.

In my opinion Lowes should pull their advertsing because the show sucks a big cock. I tried watching 20 minutes of it and it was atrocious.

they should advertise anywhere that will help get them more customers. they shouldnt pull ads because a few people dont like the show they are advertising on. dont like something change the channel or shop somewhere else.

Hypothetically if CA State senator Liu got his way would he want to force all companies to put their ads on all channels?

Companies have commercials to get the most customers. For example It would be foolish to force Bass pro shops or Busch beer to have ads on Lifetime

they should advertise anywhere that will help get them more customers.

that's what the problem always boils down to advertisers. if they think it will cost them more customers than they will gain, they will not want to advertise.
