RLee Ermy - was made for the role of Sarge. Didnt seem like he was acting did it?

He's a legit drill sergeant and was brought into the audition room when they were casting for that role to give some insight to what a drill instructor should sound like. The people trying out for the role were so bad that they decided Ermy was the best choice. They convinced him and he took the part.

I think his interest in movies is just in a place that most people dont approach from. He's always got a reasoned argument for what he's saying, and it follows a logic and intellect. He's talked about how film criticism is in a place where people just want to prop up the system, and it's gotten away from being intellectual at all. So I think his is an ultra intellectual approach, because he thinks it's so lacking. He's not watching the movie the same way any of us are.
