Australian Open 2012 late night thread

im sure none of you watch. but i remember a few of you got into Wimbledon a few times when we had threads about it. Its on live from 11pm to like 7 am so its giving me something nice and live to watch when im up late at night.

Anyone else been checking this out at all? its on espn 2 all night live for like 2 weeks and i think its still got til next sunday. There has been some pretty fuckin good matches lately, plus i got to see a guy get so mad that he demolished 4 of his fuckin rackets in 1 stoppage, 2 of which he didnt even bother to take out of the wrappers

last night there was a great one between some guy ranked 92 and Gael Monflis, who is becoming my favorite player. He is such a douche. he is like the Streetball of tennis guys. One time he was standing like 10 feet from the net and tried to jump over a ball and hit it between his legs for no reason. he hit the ball so long it hit the back wall on a fly. it was fantastic. He went down 2-0 sets last night and took it to a 5th set and then lost, it was a great match to watch in and out of serena romping some old lady

i fell asleep watchin it live. i made it like 2 games into the 4th set and i couldnt go anymore.
