The stupid name of the town, the smiling idiotic morons freezing their asses off, the insistence of acting like an animal has magical powers and can predict the weather, and just the general sickening cheeriness of the whole thing. God I wish Sirius would send him to Gobblers Knob for an on location report. hahahahahaha

I went there in the late 90s in the middle of a no sleep weekend in college (literally up for 60 hours straight) with my roomate and those fuckers were militant about not drinking at the knob. Some dude made me open my jacket at one point. It's gotta be even worse now. Long story short, we got agitated, took it out on each other, and he bit me on the torso in a fit of anger.

She had the most productive week ever after her husband ventilated himself. That's gotta be a world record for producing and recording a dead man's lost tapes, mixing, mastering and getting the cover art all together to get it out to the cd manufacturer and shipped to what were known at the time as "record stores". I don't think they would have done that. well sirius doesn't really do ANYTHING for them ever, so currently there are a lot of complaints. But if Sirius really did it all up and said, hey look, we need you on radio row for an on location broadcast on Friday for your regular time, but we've got really good tix for the game for all of you and a plus one, you're staying at such and such hotel, and all expenses including travel are paid. I don't think they would complain. It's not really a fair assessment to say to someone "you would complain no matter what" when all that happens is they get treated like shit and have dumb decisions forced on them.

He's been "thinking about it" since WNEW. Either he thinks it sounds cool to say, like a guy that did it a half-dozen times and thinks he was some major stoner, or maybe it just reveals that it takes him a real long time to think about things.

He grounded her for three months for saying stuff on Facebook. That to me is unacceptable for typical teenager bitching. Plus, her chores seem like a little much. I understand taking care of your own bed, your own dishes, and "helping out", but it seems like making EVERYONE'S bed is a little over kill.
He basically squelched his daughter's expressing herself, and basically what it teaches her is to keep things from her parents and be even more secretive.

Making fun of the bosses was a gold standard on the WNEW show.
And because they are millionaires now they aren't allowed to bitch?
For the Super Bowl thing, I'll be honest. If Rosie went, and Covino and Rich went, and other shows went, O&A should have absolutely went.
I know the reason why O&A didn't go. They are XL. Ron and Fez are XL. There is absolutely no way they could have done a clean show on radio row without other stations losing their shit and the NFL hearing about it.
Basically, they were afraid of O&A taking a shit on the NFL and possibly losing press access in the future.
So I can see both sides. Did O&A deserve to go? Probably. Did Sirius have a right to be concerned? Absolutely.

O&A moved into Sirius bitching about how terrible a company is and haven't stopped since. I guess part of their schtick is to always be negative, but I'm sure management doesn't appreciate it that much. It's obvious that O&A want to do nothing but fellate celebrities, and they have more frequent and better opportunities to do that every day since they moved. But all they do is bitch about which celebrities they can't fellate. Compare it to Ronnie, who came from the same XM studio that they did. Ronnie has said numerous times what a fantastic place Sirius is because of how many amazing artists he can see and meet there every day.
So why would management send them to the Superbowl? O&A would have found some inconsequential affront to their status and go on a month long bitchrant about it. So why not save the money and keep them home, which has the same result?

Yes, making fun of the bosses at WNEW was a standard, and they didn't get sent to the Superbowl when they were there either, so what's your point?
And obviously aside from the fact that other XL shows went, disproving your point, it's not like they were going to be yelling 'CUNT' at the top of their lungs. They know how to do clean radio. And even you should know enough about radio and sound to know that once that many people are around and talking at same time, you cant really tell what anyone is saying unless you're directly paying attention and focused on them. And if they were to do stupid hack shock jock shit at radio row, they'd be thrown out immediately and never be allowed to return, proving management's point in the first place.
I can only see their point in that it shows that the bosses don't care about them and they weren't interested in promoting the show and all that. But again, in my opinion, taking a shit on them as they like to do has everything to do with it. I don't listen to the other shows that went, but up until Rosie was given shitty seats, I doubt she talked badly about management on a regular basis, if ever. And it doesn't seem like C&R are really that type either. But perhaps because of that, that's a reason I don't listen to their show. So maybe that's the trade-off. You act the way you do, it gets you listeners, but you have to take the drawbacks that go along with it.
If you were a boss, and heard them talk about you like they do to two countries, would you be open to it? Seems like it would make the boss look like a bitch to me, and if I was a boss, I wouldn't stand for it.

Ron mentions being treated different occasionally. He did it more for the first year after the move. He also used to complain about the quality of the studio more. But I think the total random availability of big celebrities available at Sirius caused Ron to not complain as much about the loss of the awesome studio they briefly had. I'm sure it bothers O&A more than Ron, because they have so many people involved in doing their show.

Is it just me, or did they think they were interviewing Joe Lauzon when Joe Lozito was in studio? At first, when Lozito started describing what happened on the subway, Opie exclaimed "That was you?! Then at the end of the interview, Jimmy called him Joe Lauzon a couple times and when Lozito corrected him, he said "I though it was Lauzon." It would be hilarious if one of the staff fucked up the prep sheet, and the boys, being the uber-UFC fans that they are, didn't realize who was in studio.
I might be totally wrong because I didn't hear how they introduced him.

He's very, very weird. On Letterman he was a dud, until Letterman got him to open up about a crazy coke-binged plane ride he had with Charlie Sheen over 20 years ago. Then he was hilarious. But I give Letterman the props for that interview.
It just sounds like he isnt talking natural - I cant put my finger on it but i dont like it one bit.

Yea, he makes so many movies because he's in debt big time. I read somewhere that he had to make 5 or 6 movies a year just to keep up with his expenses.

It's come up a few times in the last few days but they're surprised with how they act, the criticism they make, and the positive reinforcement they give that the second one of them isn't being all edgey they get accused of being soft.

All we need to do is look at the exact moment where Jimmy had a change of heart about Steve Martin. It wasn't after publishing the book, it wasn't after talking shit about him on the show 20 times. It wasn't after saying how bad his music was. It wasn't after he agreed to be interviewed by Jimmy at the Grammys. It was after Steve Martin recognized his name. In past celebrity fellatio sessions, we have learned that aside from getting a celebrity to rub some pigment on a photo, having a celebrity know Jimmy or his name is "the big get". So Steve Martin recognizes Jimmy's name and boom (shalocklock boom), Jimmy has an instantaneous change of heart and subsequent three day guilt trip.
His celebrity addiction is weird. He's normally pretty self aware, but I don't think he even realizes what a lunatic he is about celebrity.

I think fios just pays, and doesn't fight over the cost. It's probably why they have the NFL Network and Red Zone. They just paid what the NFL wants and charge the customer for it.
Even though my fios was much, much cheaper than awful time warner is.

FIOS as the upstart was in a crappy position compared to TWC and as noted earlier FIOS does not carry MSG in HD. They couldn't make a deal with MSG/Cablevision to get the HD

Never seen a comic book store until I was like 35 (one opened up in my town now) - so, I didnt like comics growing up and sure dont like them now.
Loved the arcade though, it was my baby sitter - grew up there from like 1979 - 84. I could play for like an hour on 1 quarter.
I had pac man fever, saved so many princeses and blew up 1000's of alien ships but I left it all behind when I discovered pussy!
But now I have found my gaming roots and play just about everything that is cool on both PS# and XBox.
