I think that's going to be thing about her: as much as she did, there will always be the sense that there could have been much more, but she blew it through her own self-destructiveness.

I think the turning point of all this, where it looks like everything started going to shit, was when she became involved with Bobby Brown. I think she was going down the wrong path even before she met that scumbag, but he definitely made things far worse.

You can have several secondary causes to death , but usually one primary .The secondary causes are usually labelled as " caused by or a consequence of".So in this case. The primary cause of death is "DROWNING", while the secondary or "as a consequence of" would be 2. Cocaine use 3. coronary artery disease .
Hell, for ANYBODY the primary cause of death is "cardiopulmonary arrest " , while the secondary could be the REAL cause , like heart attack or athersclerosis. Because when your heart stops, you're dead (Unless you're Dick Cheney; then you're officially a zombie) .
